Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026.

San Fernando Valley Intergroup of Overeaters Anonymous operates this website. This policy explains known site cookies, browser storage and the scope of our preference controls. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Your Choices

On your first visit you can select Necessary only, Customize, or Accept all. You can reopen from the footer at any time. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent access to the website’s core public content.

What These Choices Control

Functional permission controls Google Translate on public pages. “Accept all” enables the optional functionality currently offered by this control; it is not consent to unrelated future purposes. Necessary security, sign-in and preference cookies are not disabled here. Hosting, private administration and external websites may use separate systems that this control does not manage.

Known Cookies and Storage

Cookie or storageProvider and purposeWhen activeDuration
oasf_cookie_consentIntergroup; necessary cookie storing the chosen preference categoryAfter choosing Necessary only, Accept all or Save choicesUp to 180 days from the saved choice, unless cleared sooner
WordPress sign-in cookies, including wordpress_logged_in_* and authentication cookiesWordPress; necessary authentication and session integrityAuthorized account sign-inConfigured login/session duration; may depend on Remember me and security settings
wordpress_test_cookieWordPress; necessary test of cookie supportWhen using the WordPress login screenTemporary login/session cookie
wp-settings-*, wp-settings-time-*WordPress; signed-in interface preferencesWhere WordPress saves account interface settingsWordPress-configured lifetime, which may vary by installation
oasf_board_oidc_browserIntergroup; necessary browser binding for a Google restricted-access sign-in transactionOnly when that sign-in workflow is enabled and startedUp to 10 minutes; removed when the sign-in transaction completes
Google Translate cookies or browser storageGoogle; optional translation and language settingsOnly after Functional permission loads TranslateProvider-controlled names and lifetimes; consult Google’s notice and browser storage controls

This inventory describes known functionality, not an assurance that every hosting or administrative cookie has been independently inventoried. Security-provider cookies can depend on the request and configuration.

Changing or Withdrawing Choices

Google Translate loads only after Functional permission. You may change that choice at any time. Withdrawing permission stops future optional loading by this control after the page reloads; it does not automatically remove existing provider cookies or information previously processed. Delete stored cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in or remembering your choice.

Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

The control detects a Global Privacy Control signal and displays a notice. Optional Google Translate still depends on the choice you make. Signal detection alone does not establish that all hosting, administrative or external-provider processing has stopped. The control does not interpret the distinct legacy Do Not Track signal. No claim of universal signal compliance is made.

Hosting, Tracking and External Sites

Public cookie choices do not control separate hosting or administrative tracking. The Intergroup does not intentionally use website submissions for targeted advertising or sell personal information; this statement is not a substitute for reviewing provider behavior. External links, payment services, Google Drive, Zoom and other websites have their own notices and cookie controls. Review those services before sharing information with them.
